Street Wear Color Rich nail Enamel "Vivid Yellow"(product review)

These days I am experimenting a lot with my nail colors & today when I was waiting for my pati parmeshwar for a lunch in my lovely garden I just clicked some pretty picture of this vibrant & unique yellow color “vivid yellow”from Maybelline Street wear.
Price: 65 INR (very cheapJ)

It stays with me for three days without getting badly chipped. In these images I am wearing single coat only& it’s the second day of this color on my nails, so it is slightly chipped as I am a hand wash freak, but this color looks pretty any waysJ

Lakme Absolute Matte Lip Color Elegant Bloom(product review)

Just like every other girl I also love pink & when it comes to choose a lip color I always pick the shade of pink & mauve. And this time I picked Lakme absolute matte finish lipstick in Shade elegant bloom.

Price: 375 for 3.6 g
Ingredients: Ingredients are not mentioned

Swatch:

From left to right: multiple swipes, two swipes & one swipe
My experience: As I said I love to wear pink lipstick & for that I am liking elegant bloom as well .It gives me lovely soft & natural look.
Its texture is soft & smooth, very easy to apply & very light.
Color looks sheer in one or two swipes, to get good visible color I have to swipe multiple times.
Its stay is around 2- 3 hours, even when I dint eat anything. SA bluffed me saying its transfer resistL
It pronounces fine lip lines which are bit irritating. :(
I liked the sleek silver classy packaging which is travel friendly.
Conclusion: The thing I liked about it is the color & the price. I was expecting a good staying power from this lipstick, but it disappointed.
This is how it looks on my lips:

Lakme Absolute White Intense Skin Cover SPF 25(product review)

I have been looking for a good foundation for my oily acne prone skin from a long time & I think I got a good one from Lakme’s absolute make up range.
Price: 575 INR for 15ml
Ingredients: It’s with SPF & vitamin B3, other than this, no list of ingredients given.
Company’s claim: Prolong that fair & natural finish & enjoy full coverage all day long with this fabulous foundation. This ultra –light, water based, oil free formulation also contains vitamin B3 to keep skin soft & supple.
Visibly faire skin
Last up to 16 hours
SPF25

My experience: I am quite late in reviewing this foundation coz I picked it in May & I started using it last month when I finished my Revlon foundation, that’s why condition of my bottle isn’t that good. J
Lakme absolute foundation is cream based. It blends in to skin very easily without giving cakey look. (Best thing about it)
I tried using it with & without moisturizer & in both the case it blends well, though it doesn’t dry my skin at any moment but I prefer to use moisturizer to get a soft & natural look.
It gives a good even finish to my skin .I was bit hesitated to use it as it says I am matte but its finish is not that matte to look unnatural & made up ,its semi matte.
It never broke me out. :)
Its stay is of 7-8 hours, till this time it keeps me absolutely oil free.
Coming to the most important thing that is coverage : it gives full coverage for my skin (I have 2-3 post pimple marks & slightly dark under eyes)I just have to go for touch up after 6-7 hours, till that it keeps me oil free(I love it for this reasonJ)
It has SPF 25 which is a good thing.
Its packaging looks pretty from outside but I couldn’t see how much product is left. I love the transparent bottles. :(  But I liked its pump dispenser, which gives the required quantity only & doesn’t waste product & maintain hygiene.
Swatches:

This pea size is enough for whole face & gives good coverage. As soon as I apply it I can see brightened & clearer skin.
Conclusion:
I love this product & using it very frequently. It can be used daily coz it never broke me out & have SPF .It gives good coverage without making cakey made up look on my skin. It claims to stay for 16 hours but I think that is possible with touch ups .On my oily skin it stay for 7-8 hours, which is good enough for me coz I don’t keep make-up for long. I liked it & will buy again.

Faces Germany Eye Pencil In Sky Blue(product review)

Faces eyeliner are very much famous these days coz of there lovely shades & nice quality in cheap price. I got faces eyeliners long back & just forgot to even look at them. I got them in little hurry so I picked faces Germany eye pencil in sky blue shade (about which I had never heardJ) & faces Canada forest green. Today I am reviewing faces Germany eye pencil in sky blue shade.
Price: 249 INR

The shade is nice & gives soft look. I liked the shade coz I was really bored of wearing dark shades like blue & green, so for me it was a good change. It’s a light baby sky blue with a matte finish with very subtle shimmer.
Its texture is good. Neither too creamy to smudge on my oily lids nor too hard to hurt lids.
It doesn’t irritate eyes even when I applied it on my kohl line.
Its Stay around 3-4 hours, after that it starts fading.
I don’t know if I got the bad one but the color doesn’t go on as smooth & pigmented as faces Canada’s forest green eyeliner.
To get a good visible color I had to swipe at least 5-6 times & if I swipe more, then my liner get cracks & I could see my skin in some parts, which is the worst thing.
from your right to left : one swipe , two swipes & 5-6 swipes

Conclusion:
I liked the color coz its different from some usual shade & it’s really cheap. Though it is not as good as faces Canada’s eye liner but not bad to give a try. This is how it looks on my eyes.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion (product review)

Whenever I see anything with the tea tree oil I grab it, so I got this body shop night fade lotion, shop assistant (SA) told me its good for oily skin & it can work for my blemished skin.
Price: 695 INR
Its main ingredient is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil have anti bacterial agents & which acts as a solvent. So it can stop oily matter from clogging up sebeceous glands & forming pimple.
My experience: I got it coz SA told me it’s good for oily skin& can reduce pimples & he was right .It actually reduces the size of my pimples in just one night.wowJ
It reduced oiliness of my skin leaving it soft & shine free every morning.
It absorbs in to skin & gives proper hydration to my skin.
My blemishes are lightened to some extent but didn’t disappear even after using two bottles of it. So, now I use only when I have any pimple.
Quantity: 30 ml
When I saw the bottle I thought I am going to finish it soon, but I was wrong just one pump is enough for my face .When I used it every night on my whole face, this bottle lasts for 2 months. It's with a pump dispenser , which makes it easy to use, hygenic & doesn't waste product.
Conclusion: It's a good moisturizing lotion especially for oily skin as it controls oil & improves texture of skin. It doesn’t fade blemishes completely but controls breakout & small acne.
Have you tried this? Then please share your experience with me .
Keep smiling & be beautiful with me ..:)

Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cream (product review)

I never preferred to use moisturizer for my oily skin as I am afraid of break out with creams, but I was wrong oily skin also needs moisturizer. And coz of this i keep trying some new moisturizers.
Price: Rs. 99 for 20g and Rs. 299 for 50g pack.
Ingredients :
Its a huge list of ingredients...

My experience: I am a huge fan of Neutrogena. I am using its products from years. Earlier I was using there fine fairness lotion for oily to combination skin. That suited me very well as I have oily skin. But I shifted to this cream because I was feeling slight dryness on my skin so I just picked it from my sister shelf who have dry skin. Things I liked about this cream are:
It’s a light cream which absorbs easily in to skin.
It's thick in consistency.
It provides good moisturization that lasts for at least 5 hours.
It doesn’t clog pores, so doesn’t cause break out.
Its fragrance is light.
Things not so good about this cream are:
It will be easy for me to talk about its dislike by comparing it with the company’s claim, which you can read in the image below :

As far as I can see I dint help me to reduce any uneven skin tone or pigmentation (I have on the corners of my lips)
It says it protects from UVA & UVB but I think SPF 20 can work if you’re at home not when your going out. When you are stepping out of home a good sunscreen is essential.
Third claim is about long lasting moisturization , this is true to some extent , as its proving good for sister who have dry skin , in my case I could see some greasiness & shine after some time so probably it was my wrong decision to try thisJ.
It contains paraben , which is not so good.
Conclusion:
If I talk about moisturization then this cream is really good for dry skin, but I think other skin type can feel greasiness & shine after applying this cream.

Avon Nailwear Pro Nail Enamel"Electric green" (product review)

I love to paint my nails but I am not too much in to nail art & all, I just love to experiment with colors. Today I am sharing my experience with the loveliest green .I never thought green nail color can look so pretty until I used Avon’s nailwear pro.I couldn’t find such lovely green in any other brand.
The color is so pretty that I can’t take off my eyes from my handsJ
Here are some more images.

Well truly its perfect neon green, which can look pretty on any body’s hands.
I picked this color in offer of 159 INR for 2 nail paints.
I found the quality & the packaging of the nail paint quite nice.
The brush is good & easy to use.
Nail paint is good in consistency coz it spreads easily & dries quickly.
Stay of this nail color was around 3-4 days without top coat of any transparent nail paint.
You can buy the products of Avon from there agents or distributor only not from any mall or retail counter, but that’s not an issue as they are widely spread. And when they are providing such pretty things anything is worth it J

Home Made Deep Conditioning Hair Mask (hair fall)

Dry & rough hair is a common problem for all hair type. My hair type is oily but I have experienced this problem in last few months as you know I was careless for my hair. I shampoo my hair every alternate day & after shampooing hair begin to lose moisture and prone to pollutants.

Hair, when exposed to various pollutants, chemicals, harsh winds and sun tends to become brittle & dry.  To rectify this hair should be moisturized and should be conditioned.
I created a hair mask for myself which deep conditioned my hair, as I have oily hair I used it once in a week or in 15 days.I think it will work great for dry hair if used frequently..

Deep Conditioning Hair Mask  Recipe
4 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons natural honey
Mix coconut oil and honey in a bowl & keep it in microwave for 15 seconds & Apply to hair liberally from roots to ends & massage your scalp for some while. This warm mixture will make you feel relax, wrap hair in a towel for 15 minutes. Rinse out. You will get very soft & shinny hair. Believe me I couldn’t take my hands off my hair J

How this conditioner helps in reducing hair fall:

Coconut oil helps in replenishing the natural oils of our scalp & strengthens the hair shaft. This is essential for healthy hair & it avoids excess breakage & split ends.

Honey also prevents breakage by nourishing hair deeply. I talked about honey as a good conditioner earlier as well. Actually honey is favorite ingredients for my skin & hair problem.

Importance Of Oil For Your hair

So, I have been talking about my hair fall & 5 things helped me, here is the most important part of this series & that is oiling your hair. This was always irritating for me coz I can’t stand the stickiness of oils (chip chip) but this time I changed my priority to win back my hair.
So, without wasting anytime to think & search which oil can work for me I mixed all the oils available in my shelf like olive oil, coconut oil & almond oil. I’ll share the importance & effect of these oils later.
I apply oil with the help of cotton ball on my scalp so that I won’t feel the stickiness on my hands & this even helps in applying oil properly. Oil should be properly applied on the scalp so that it can reach roots & improves our hair follicles.
I never used too much of oil on my hair as it’s not required to dip your hair in oil & optimal use of oil will require lesser shampoo( means lesser chemicals) J
Why to oil your hair:
Unfortunately most of us are using harsh chemical (sls) based shampoos which can make our hair dry , applying oil before shampoo will protect your hair from being overly cleansed and becoming "squeaky clean" .
Applying oil can reduce split ends & frizzy ends by providing nourishment to your hair & its roots.
Oiling your hair everyday would be too much to ask for. But do this at least thrice a week for beautiful hair. It does make a lot of difference if you keep doing this regularly as it is bound to show on your hair.
The massaging and oiling of your hair stimulates the blood circulation, which in return helps your hair.
Honestly I have been skipping oil from at least a year or so & I am following these entire 5 things regularly from few months only & I can a huge change in my hair & oil helped in improving my hair texture.

Hope you will not forget to apply oil after reading this post.

Keep smiling & be beautiful :)

Importance Of Brushing & Scalp Massage For Beautiful Hair

My next effort to reduce hair fall was brushing & scalp massage. As I said I never cared for my hair & the most careless thing I did is I never brushed them properly. After having a baby I am always in hurry so I just brush them from top & I never reached till scalp. Brushing your hair & scalp properly is more cleansing than any shampoo or hair cleanser.
It stimulates hormone and oil- producing glands, which keep the pores of the hair and scalp open, allowing them to breathe and retain their natural oils. Because of its cleansing effect on hair and scalp, brushing is a form of dry shampooing. So know I brush them properly.
Next thing is massage which helps in improving blood circulation & this was something we all know coz this had been emphasized by our mommies & grannies
So I started it all again, the only difference this time it’s not mommy or granny who are doing my massage, I have to do it at my own.
The best way I found to massage is let your fingers be at one place & move your scalp. With the small circular movements or back and forth motion you will be able to cover larger areas of your scalp. Starting from the front of the head and moving back to the nape of the neck. Then, from the nape of the neck, use the same motion to move forward to the front of the head. This method will make you feel relaxed as well. Remember move your skin under scalp till you feel warmness.
You should massage at least for 15-20 minutes a day.
