Lakme Clean Up Nourishing Glow Face Wash(product review)

It’s been a longtime since I have tried any new face wash... and
after trying Lakme brightening capsules I have actually developed a trust on
Lakme’s skin care products just like there make up products.

This time I am trying a product from there new range -Lakme Clean Up Nourishing Glow Range that have 3 amazing products to pamper our skin: Face wash, Scrub & Mask. I am sharing my experience with:

Price: 80 Inr for 50 gm

My Experience:

I just loved the strawberry colored tube packaging. This comes with flip flop cap that
clicks lock easily & tightly. This mechanism makes it travel friendly and
 one has to press the tube to take out required amount so no wastage of product.

The face wash is lovely strawberry colored which itself makes me want to use it.
It has thick gel like consistency with tiny & soft granules.
But I don’t find granules to do anything for my black/white heads.

The fragrance is just like any fruit jelly, bit strong but not irritating at
all rather it gives cooling sensation in these hot summers.

It foams well with this little quantity.

It cleanse my skin  well without making it over dry or stretched but
it doesn’t give that super clean feel which is a downside for me as I have oily skin and
I prefer a face wash that cleanses my skin deeply .But I think it will be nice for
combination to mild oily skinned beauties.

I have very oily skin & in summers my skin produces more oil...
but this face wash controls my oil for more than 4 hours... which is a sufficient time

I am using it from last 15 days & It never broke me out ...i think
It does provide mild anti acne action...which is a plus point.

Good:

• Travel friendly coz of sturdy packaging
• Nice strawberry colored gel with soft granules that looks attractive.
• Lathers sufficiently.
• Gives decent cleansing without drying out skin.
• Doesn’t leaves any residue behind
• Refreshing fragrance
• Last longer as little quantity is enough for whole face & neck.
• Affordable.

Not so good:

• Doesn’t give deep cleansing for very oily skin
• Granules are of no help even for my mild white heads.

Over all I liked it for giving the refreshing feel & it’s great for combination /mildly oily skin.

These days I am liking orange color in everything, whether its clothes, lipstick or nail paints. This time I tried Lakme Color Crush Shade No.11. It’s lovely neon orange.

Consistency of this nail paint is neither too thick nor too runny.

Lakme Absolute Matte Lipstick In Classic Rose(product review)

I really liked Lakme’s absolute range & here comes one more try of Lakme absolute lipstick. Today I am sharing Lakme absolute matte lip color 47 classic rose.

Price: 395 INR

My experience:

It’s a shade of red with the hint of orange (ok I must tell you I am not very good at describing color & fragrance) but I just liked the color. Earlier I am just a fan of pink but now I am trying some new shades especially shade of orange & red.

Its texture is soft & it’s easy to apply.

Stay is around 3 hours. It doesn’t go with the claim of 16 hours stay.

Pigmentation is nice .Color can be build up if required.

This color is so nice that it instantly brightens my face.

This shade will suit every skin color coz it’s neither too dark nor very vibrant red.

Lakme Eye Color Quartet In Purple Oasis(product review)

I am quite late in reviewing this “Purple Oasis Eye Color Quartet” from lakme. I like this quartet coz this is one is from my wedding makeup kit from my mommy . :)

I am not very good at eye makeup & all, but I tried this one few times & I liked the look.

Company’s claim: Versatile quartets of vivid, high intensity powders put together to color shape and highlight your eyes in an explosion of radiant color.

Price: 425INR

My experience: All the four shades are shimmery & vibrant.

All the shades are well pigmented

This quartet is perfect for night make up look & parties’ coz the colors are quite vibrant. So it will be good for coming festive season

Lasting power is okay Tokay; it stays around 3 hours on my oily lids

It comes with a sponge applicator, which is of no use coz it won’t last for more than two usages & it doesn’t helps in blending at all.

Here is the eye make up I have tried with few of the shades from this quartet.

Consider my mistakes as I am not good at eye make up & I rarely use eye shadows.

Conclusion: I think all the shades are shimmery & two lightest shades are quite similar, they should have given at least one matte shade. But I liked two dark shades a lot they can be used in varied eye look.

Lakme Absolute Matte Lip Color Elegant Bloom(product review)

Just like every other girl I also love pink & when it comes to choose a lip color I always pick the shade of pink & mauve. And this time I picked Lakme absolute matte finish lipstick in Shade elegant bloom.

Price: 375 for 3.6 g

Swatch:

My experience: As I said I love to wear pink lipstick & for that I am liking elegant bloom as well .It gives me lovely soft & natural look.

 Its texture is soft & smooth, very easy to apply & very light.

Color looks sheer in one or two swipes, to get good visible color I have to swipe multiple times.

Its stay is around 2- 3 hours, even when I dint eat anything. SA bluffed me saying its transfer resistL

It pronounces fine lip lines which are bit irritating. :(

I liked the sleek silver classy packaging which is travel friendly.

Conclusion: The thing I liked about it is the color & the price. I was expecting a good staying power from this lipstick, but it disappointed.
