Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub(product review)

be beautiful with punam

Neutrogena is one of my favorite brands. I have been using this brand from last 6-7 years & I love this brand. Well this time I got Neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub & I love to try new scrubs.
Price: 95 INR
Ingredients: water, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, polyethylene, glycerin, cocamidopropyl betaine, stearic acid
They say main ingredient is beta hydroxy.
And I heard beta hydroxy is even better than alpha hydroxy coz it penetrates into pore that contains sebum & removes excess oil & exfoliate skin. It’s great for blackheads & white heads.

My experience:
It’s a white scrub with tiny orange granules, which are not harsh on skin. It smells very light. It comes in a flip flop tube, which is easy to use & travel friendly. But I would have loved it if it had transparent packaging; coz it’s easy to see how much is left.
Very little quantity is required, so it can be used for a longer while.
It’s really good for exfoliation & cleanses really well. It helps in reducing existing blackheads to a great extent.
My face looked brighter every time after using it. I never felt dry or stretchy after using it instead I always felt soft & smooth skin but if you take slightly more quantity you may feel dryness.
It can be used daily coz it’s very gentle on skin but I don’t prefer to use scrubs daily.
It never broke me out & good for oily skin coz its oil free.
Conclusion: It’s a good daily scrub & I think its one of the best among all I tried for blackheads especially for my deep & old blackheads.

Magnesium Sulfate for Acne(Home remedy)

be beautiful with punam
Acne occurs when least needed. Especially in my case they always occur just a day before some party & on last eighteenth I hosted a teej party & as usual had two nodules(swollen acne) on my face & I was mad as a wet hen J(please some body tell my acne that I am no more a teenager)
And (dhan tanan) then my angel enters who solves all my problem (my hubby)
He says I will bring magnesium sulfate from our hospital’s medical store coz we use it to reduce swellings & in many medical preparations. (He runs his own hospital & an orthopedic surgeon; I wish he would have read dermatologyJ).
Though he forgets to even bother about it as soon as he reaches there but gave an amazing idea to me & then I got magnesium sulfate from my hospital’s medical store. Magnesium sulfate is easily available over the counter. You can also use Epsom salt which is another name of magnesium sulfate. But I never found Epsom salt anywhere.
Why magnesium sulfate: It has great anti inflammatory properties & healing agents. Magnesium sulfate is a chemical compound made up of oxygen, magnesium & sulfur. The substance has an extracting effect & traditionally used as bath salt to suck toxins & impurities from skin. My hubby said it will be good for reducing nodular acne & it also reduce excess oil.

As you can see in the image its granulated , so I have to crush It to make paste & then I mixed rose water with it & apply it on the affected area, I applied it 3 times a day & my swollen nodular was reduced to half in a day & redness disappeared. Don’t ever rub it directly on your skin its abrasive. I applied it 3 times in a day coz I was impatient but I won’t suggest any body to overdo this. Use it once or twice a day for 15-20 minutes & see the magic.

Dabur Uveda Clarifying Face Wash(product review)

be beautiful with punam

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. Walt Disney
When I brought this face wash probably I was very much inspired with this quote J (Well I am just in a mood to write quotes in my post today)
I wish not to be curious & be loyal to my best face wash i.e. Neutrogena oil free acne wash but whenever anything new enter into market I want to try that & just coz of that  few months back I tried uveda clarifying face wash.
Price -130 INR
Ingredients:

My experience:
This face wash comes in a red flip flop tube which is not transparent & dear dabur I don’t like such products coz I cant see how much is left ,hope you note tisJ It is a transparent gel like face wash , smells natural & herbal but very light.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. Albert Einstein . In my case I should put it that way: any one who never tried new things never made a mistake J coz using this face wash was really a mistake for me L
Well trying to be precise my experience was not that good with this face wash. Coz when I started using this face wash I was not having any pimple but this face wash gave me that as a gift after few days only J
It leaves a film on skin, when I wash my face with Luke warm water this feeling was less but not vanished
Every time I wash my face with it I could see my skin looking dull & not bright, but when I wipe my face with toner I couldn’t find any residue so probably it cleans skin but not deeply coz I think when skin is cleaned deeply it looks bright.
It could control oil on my skin for a long time without making skin over dry.(the only thing I liked)
So over all it was not a very good experience for my skin mainly coz it broke me out.
